Having always lived in London but from a low-income background, I have always been aware of wealth disparities, the housing crisis, and financial difficulty. However, I am simultaneously aware of my privilege and fortune to now be in stable housing. My awareness of such hardship has been a key motivator behind my work today and since studying photography academically over the past five years, I have shown a passion for illustrating issues of social concern to encourage awareness and change for less advantaged people within society. My work often tackles issues of wealth and class disparities and societal challenges that young people face today. With a specialist focus on portraiture, you will also see a large portion of my work also dedicated to mental wellbeing in young adults.
